Youth have chance to share views
Do you know a young person who is passionate about sharing his or her voice on issues our church is facing? If so, please encourage them to nominate for the LCA National Youth Forum 2018 by contacting their local church district office. Grow Ministries hopes to gather up to 30 people aged between 16 and 20 from across Australia and New Zealand to take part.
The forum will be held in Adelaide from Thursday 12 April to Sunday 15 April 2018. Participants will discuss a variety of issues facing the church and other topics of interest. They will also learn about the General Convention of Synod.
While this is a Grow Ministries–funded initiative, the individual, their congregation or district, will be asked to contribute $200 per participant to assist with costs. Nominations close COB Monday 26 February 2018. Contact Grow on 08 8267 7300 or at growministries@lca.org.au for details.
