Local mission leader installed
Mrs Tania Nelson has been installed as the LCA’s new Executive Officer – Local Mission.
LCA Bishop John Henderson installed Tania to the new position last month at her home church at Blair Athol in suburban Adelaide.
As the Executive Officer – Local Mission, Tania will play an important role in leading the development of integrated approaches and strategies for local mission across the LCA. LCA Local Mission encompasses Lutheran Media and Grow Ministries, as well as ministry with the ageing, and new and renewing churches.
Based at the LCA’s National Office in North Adelaide, Tania was formerly the Head of School of Theological Studies and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Australian Lutheran College (ALC).
